1972 -	Appointed as an assistant judge at Osaka District Court Served at Civil Affairs Bureau, Supreme Court Secretariat Served as judge at Tokyo District Court, etc.
1987 -	Assigned to Ministry of Justice Served as chief of Fourth Division (current Commercial Division) of Civil Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Justice Served as Counselor for Ministry of Justice Secretariat Served as Councilor for Ministry of Justice Secretariat (in charge of Civil Affairs Bureau) Contributed to the amendments of basic civil laws such as Commercial Code, Bankruptcy Act, etc. including service as a chief counselor for the amendment of the Code of Civil Procedure in 1996 Handled administrative services relating to commercial and corporate registrations, depositions, etc.
1997 -	Served as judge at Tokyo High Court Served as judge at Tokyo District Court (head of the division) and Yokohama District Court (head of the division)
2002	Served as chief judge of Nagano District and Family Court
2004	Served as judge at Osaka High Court (head of the division)
2006	Served as judge at Tokyo High Court (head of the division)
2010	Retired from service as a judge
